The Essential Indexical

The Essential Indexical a thrice-yearly digital release of new and experimental work presented by Indexical. The Essential Indexical: Early MMXVIII includes performances from Indexical’s 2018 Santa Cruz concert series, from January through March of 2018. Included are Dante’s composition Mi cama inundada and a duo improvisation with Jaap Blonk.

Fonema Consort’s “dazzling” (Chicago Reader) debut album is a compilation of works by Costa Rican composers Pablo Chin and Mauricio Pauly. These works stretch vocal chamber music into new and highly expressive territory, lending new poignancy and immediacy to gestures traditionally associated with the avant garde.
